Encouraging giving back is one of the FIS™Guiding Principles. We passionately and purposely encourage a culture of giving back – to our clients, to our communities and to our own colleagues – around the world to make a positive difference.
No matter the cause, our employees step up to the plate.
It’s impossible to highlight our collective giving back efforts last year, but we have done our best to spotlight some of our programs available – and photos of our many employees in action.
I can’t find the words of thanks that would adequately express what I feel. I can only say that FIS helped me get though the absolute worst time of my life and helped to ease some of the panic and pain of the situation. I’ve been with FIS for 30+ years and cherish every moment I have been part of this family. Time and time again, FIS has demonstrated to be a truly great ‘people’ company. - FIS employee
The FIS Charitable Foundation (CF) is a nonprofit, nonstock corporation that serves as the primary source for FIS charitable contributions. The CF complements the philanthropic volunteer efforts of our employees by providing financial support to qualified organizations operating within our areas of focus. The CF considers financial donations, team contributions and donation matches upon request.
Outside of the FIS Charitable Foundation’s annual giving of more than $1.2 million annually, our employees demonstrate their own generous commitments by volunteering their own time and money. Employees are encouraged to use allotted volunteer time off to give back to those organizations nearest and dearest to their hearts.
FIS Cares is a peer-to-peer giving program designed to provide short-term support during times when catastrophic or unforeseen events result in severe financial hardship. U.S. employees can donate between $1 – $5 per pay period to help pay for things like medical expenses, temporary housing, food and clothing, utility bills and other basic needs.
