You may not recognize their names, but you probably have heard of the book, and later the movie, that thrust Leigh Anne and Sean Tuohy into the spotlight for their compassion and family values. “The Blind Side” was based on the real-life actions of the Tuohys, Memphis-based parents who welcomed then homeless, 16-year-old Michael Oher with open arms. The couple recently co-authored the book, “In a Heartbeat: Sharing the Power of Cheerful Giving,” and will share their incredible story.
Also, Michael Cavanaugh will take the stage and wow guests with his musical renditions of Billy Joel and Elton John. Described as the “The new voice of the American rock and roll songbook” by Billboard Magazine, Cavanaugh took Broadway by storm as the piano and lead vocal in the musical, “Movin’ Out.”
