After it’s destruction during World War II, it took almost four decades for the so-called most beautiful ruin of Germany to restore its magnificent facade and become a modern concert hall. The Alte Oper, situated in the centre of Frankfurt, is a destination for high-quality classical and jazz music and an array of other musical and theatrical productions.
