Another trend specific to Australia is the popularity of the primary bank’s mobile app for making P2P payments, especially with millennials. Elsewhere, outside apps are used just as much, if not more, than the primary bank’s app. That’s not the case in Australia, where the major banks have a dominant position in the market.
