EMV Contactless
For consumers who have a contactless enabled debit or credit card, they can tap the EMV chip card instead of dipping thechip card into the device. Only the customer handles the card in order to complete the payment. Your staff never has to touch the card or the payment device.
Mobile Wallet/App
Consumers open their mobile wallet and choose their preferred card to complete the payment transaction. Once the mobile wallet is opened, the customer holds the device close to the terminal. The mobile device and payment device connect automatically using NFC technology. The transaction completes within a couple of seconds with no physical contact necessary.
