[FA117] Front Arena internal dataflow – Where did my Trade go?

Front Arena consists of a number of components that are installed and configured to connect Front Arena to external exchange markets. This training is a demonstration with practical exercises that shows how to configure the components involved in the data flow from different exchange platforms to the Front Arena Data Server (ADS).

The following topics are covered:

  • Logical architecture overview
  • Component overview – Arena Message Broker (AMB), Exchange Message Broker Adapter (XMBA), Arena Message Broker Adapter (AMBA)
    1. ttt customizations
    2. AMBA hook customizations
  • Trade flow example – Follow a trade from the exchange to the ADS.
  • Instruments and order books, define and load
  • Tools for analyzing, searching and monitoring
  • Troubleshooting
  • Tips and tricks
  • “Spot the errors” hands-on exercise

Goal of the Course

At the end of the course, participants will understand how the dataflow from and to an exchange market connection can be set up and customized in Front Arena.

Target Audience

System administrators and business experts working with exchange connections.

Participants must be employed by a customer of Front Arena or an authorized Front Arena partner.

Required Knowledge Level

Participants should have a basic understanding of the Front Arena Data Model and the principles of exchange trading. Programming and database beginner knowledge would be useful but is not required.
