Worldpay from FIS® and the National Online Retail Association (NORA) have had a jam-packed year so far. We are having an incredible time collaborating and it can be seen through all the activities and connections made: a webinar series, a showreel, award nominations, a symposium and NORA TV.

ANZ Future of Retail Payments webinar series

During the past three months, Worldpay and NORA brought together great retail leaders to explore the ever-evolving retail landscape, growth opportunities and how to optimize business for the cross-border eCommerce market in a three-part webinar series, ANZ Future of Retail Payments.

The NORA Network's RetailUP Wednesday Webinar Series, held on February 24, March 24 and April 28, delved into some critical topics with panelists from a variety of partners, clients and retailers. Below, you can find a short summary and the full webcast recordings of all three webinars, hosted on NORA TV.

Webinar 1: Payments in the retail revolution

Worldpay, along with panellists from Klarna, Magento and Publicis Sapient, discuss how COVID-19 has fuelled payments in the retail revolution, the 2021 impact of industry-shifting payments trends such as BNPL, cross-border commerce, social shopping, and subscriptions. Watch now and learn how strategy and payment innovations are impacted.

Webinar 2: Payments at the center of the user experience

In the second webinar, we showcase how the payments process is central to the user experience. Webinar 3: Navigating cross-border payments

In March, the Retail Solutions Showreels series was filmed, and Worldpay joined the NORA crew to create our own Worldpay showreel. In this short video, Callum Juniper, our Business Development director in Australia, gives an introduction to Worldpay as the largest international payments provider. It was a fantastic opportunity to get our message out to the industry!


In April, we were nominated as finalists for both the ‘Best All-round Payments Provider’ and the ‘Best Payments Gateway’ at the NORA Solution Partner Awards. We are extremely proud of this achievement and for growing our brand, and for being recognized increasingly more in the APAC region.

The Retail CEO Symposium

Last but not least, we’re looking forward to the Retail CEO Symposium, which will be held at the end of this year. It’s an exclusive, by-invitation-only event bringing together 45 of Australia’s leading retail CEOs, Chairs and country leaders who will review and debate the emerging forces shaping the future of Australia’s retail industry.

We are delighted that Yvonne Szeto (VP, Commercial, Global Enterprise eCommerce, Asia Pacific) and Phil Pomford (General Manager, Asia Pacific) can represent Worldpay at the symposium in Melbourne, Australia later this year.
