FIS Named a Best Place to Work for LGBTQ Equality for Second Straight Year

JACKSONVILLE, Fla., April 10, 2019FIS™ (NYSE: FIS), a global leader in financial services technology, announced that it has been named a “Best Place to Work” for lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and queer (LGBTQ) equality by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation. It was the second straight year that FIS received this designation.

FIS received a perfect score on the 2019 Corporate Equality Index (CEI), the nation’s premier benchmarking survey on corporate policies and practices related to LGBTQ workplace equality. The CEI is administered by the Human Rights Campaign (HRC) Foundation. FIS is one of more than 560 major U.S. businesses that earned top marks this year. The company has also received “Best Places to Work” designations in a number of its key U.S. facility locations including Orlando and Jacksonville, Florida.

The 2019 CEI evaluates companies on their LGBTQ-related policies and practices including non-discrimination workplace protections, domestic partner benefits, transgender-inclusive health care benefits, competency programs, and public engagement with the LGBTQ community. FIS received a 100 percent score in satisfying all of the CEI’s criteria.
