[FA109] ARENA Data Model and ASQL – Real-time Applications

ARENA SQL (ASQL) enables easy development of custom real-time applications and reports. Understanding the database is a foundation for understanding Front Arena:

• Introduction to the data model
• ASQL syntax and program design
• Methods to execute queries and present results
• Hands-on training – Exercises and answers

Goal of the Course

At the end of this course, participants should be able to write short ASQL queries and understand more complex ASQL queries.

Target Audience

Front-, middle- and back-office personnel new to ASQL or existing users who wish to deepen and broaden their knowledge.

Participants must be employed by a customer of SunGard Front Arena or an authorized Front Arena partner.

Required Knowledge Level

Participants should have some experience of Front Arena, for example, Interest Rates, Credit or Equities training.
